A Message From our Principal, Mrs. Yanta

Howdy, Longhorn Family!

I hope you have had a restful weekend and are ready to take on the 2nd six weeks! Tomorrow marks the beginning of a new grading period and another opportunity to set goals, stay focused, and finish the semester strong.

Please note that 1st six weeks report cards will be available in Skyward on Thursday. Take time to review your grades and academic progress, and make sure you are staying on top of assignments, attendance, and deadlines.

This is also a short week for students. Thursday is an early release day, and Friday is a holiday, so please plan accordingly and make the most of your instructional time this week.

Class of 2027 Update!

At George Ranch High School, there are two different senior-parent traditions/programs:

Pro Grad (Project Graduation): A safe, alcohol- and drug-free graduation-night celebration for graduating seniors. Parents organize an all-night event with food, games, entertainment, prizes, activities, and a memorable way for seniors to celebrate together after graduation.

Senior Serve: It is an important part of the Pro Grad tradition and fundraising. It's an opportunity for our seniors and parents to come together and support the program. This is set for November 8th.

We need ALL HANDS-ON DECK to make this happen for our seniors!

Please join us at the GRHS library Wednesday September 23rd at 6:30pm for our next meeting to get a better overview of the program. Senior students need to attend this meeting with a parent/guardian.

There are also several more fundraising opportunities happening, be on the lookout for more announcements!
