Ranch Round-Up

Come pick up your schedules and parking passes! Counselors will be avaliable for questions.

Seniors: August 5th from 8:30am to 11:30pm

Juniors: August 5th from 1pm to 3:30pm

Sophmores: August 6th from 1pm to 3:30pm

Remaining parking passes can be picked up on August 8th

Longhorn Orientation

When: August 7th

Where: GRHS Gym (back parking lot)

Who: This is open to all incoming 9th graders and any 10th , 11th, or 12th student new to the Ranch!

Principal Welcome, Staff Introductions, Club opportunities, Spirit wear, and campus tours will be happening! And you’ll be picking up your schedule! 

Orientation is a student only event. Parents will have an opportunity to visit the campus on open house in a few weeks.

Distance Learning Course Information

If you plan to take a course outside of LCISD (including summer or year-round courses), you must complete the required form before enrolling. Submit the form to your counselor in room 2327 or email it to them. 

Distance Learning Approval Form

Important Guidelines for Out-of-District Courses:

  • Only courses from Texas Tech University K12, University of Texas K12, or Texas Virtual School Network (TxVSN) are approved.
  • No online courses that require STAAR End of Course exams (Algebra I, Biology, English I & II, U.S. History).
  • Students can earn up to two (2) credits for original online courses (not for credit recovery).
  • One online course at a time, unless approved by the principal.
  • Approval is needed for out-of-district courses after completing 8th grade.
  • All prerequisites and grade level requirements apply.
